Pakistan will celebrate Defence Day on 6th September with great fervor like every year. Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Asif Ghafoor, has urged the nation to remember the martyrs on this day.
The head of the army’s media wing has asked fellow countrymen to visit a shaheed’s home to show solidarity with the martyrs’ families.
The gesture is quite significant for their families, especially at a time when Pakistan Army needs to send a message to our Kashmiri brothers and sisters and the enemy on the other side of the border.
DG ISPR tweeted from his official account:
Defence and Martyrs Day 6 Sep 2019. Like last year, let’s reach out to families of our shaheeds. Every shaheed be remembered.
