Infinix Hot 8 Launched With a 5000 mAh Battery

After the successful launch of the Infinix Hot 7 this year, the HongKong based company just announced its latest entry-level smartphone appropriately dubbed the Infinix Hot 8. For an entry-level smartphone, the Hot 8 comes with some impressive specifications and a very reasonable initial price.

Design and Display

Design-wise, this smartphone comes with a matte back, a triple sensor rear camera vertically aligned on the top left and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It will be available in three colors Midnight Black, Cosmic Purple, and Quetzal Cyan.

The water-drop notch display is a 6.5-inch LCD panel with HD+ (720p) resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

Cameras

The vertically stacked triple sensor rear camera features a 13 MP main sensor, 2 MP depth sensor, and a low light sensor. The selfie camera is a modest 8 MP single sensor.

Internal and Storage

On the inside, this budget-friendly smartphone is packed with a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC topped with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of built-in storage which can be expanded via a memory card.

Software-wise the smartphone runs on Infinix’s XOS 5.0 flavored Android 9.0 Pie.

Battery and Pricing

The whole package is fueled by a massive 5000 mAh battery which unfortunately charges over the old school MicroUSB 2.0.

Currently, the smartphone is available on Flipkart at the initial price tag of $97. After 30th October the price will be increased to $111.

  • Flipkart is an indian website. I thought you guys hated india? Or perhaps this is a copy paste from some other site and you didn’t even bother to proof read it?

    • Dear Hooman I think u need read it properly if this article was pasted from some other source or may be from Flipkart as u said then the the chipset must be here as Helio P22 but here it says Helio P25 FYI Infinix used Helio P25 in Hot 7 pro only in Pakistan whereas in India and other regions it was launched with Helio P22 onemore thing Antutu score wise P25 is better then P22.
