Nokia’s ‘Shandar Offer’ Discounts Nokia 7 Plus and Other Phones

If you are looking to buy a new smartphone and can’t find one thanks to recent taxes and rising dollar rates. Nokia, in partnership with the Advanced Telecom, has introduced a ‘Shandar offer’ offering 3 low-end and a mid-range smartphone at discounted prices.

The smartphones included in the offer are:

  • Nokia 1 Plus
  • Nokia 2.1
  • Nokia 7 Plus
  • Nokia 8110 4G

Nokia 1 Plus

This low-end smartphone is built around a 5.45-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and has a Mediatek MT6739WW (28 nm) processor along with 1 GB RAM and 8/16 GB built-in storage. At the back, the Nokia 1 Plus comes with a single 8 MP shooter.

Initially, the smartphone was priced at PKR 14,900 but under the Shandar offer, it is being offered at PKR 11,450.

Nokia 2.1

Nokia 2.1 features a 5.5-inch LCD display with 720p resolution. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 topped with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB built-in storage. Just like the Nokia 1 Plus, this smartphone also features a single sensor 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP selfie camera.

The price of this smartphone has been reduced to PKR 12,450 from PKR 14,999.

Nokia 8110

This redesigned version of the old Antenna-toting Nokia 8110 runs Kai OS, has 4G connectivity, features a 2.4-inch TFT display and is powered by the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 205 with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB built-in storage.

The smartphone, initially priced at PKR 9,990, is available at PKR 7,150.

Nokia 7 Plus

The only mid-ranger in the list of discounted smartphones is the Nokia 7 Plus. It features a 6-inch LCD display with FHD+ (1080p) resolution. Internally, it runs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB built-in storage.

It was launched last year with Android 8.1 Oreo but has been upgraded to Android 9.0 Pie. Camera-wise, the smartphone sports a dual-sensor rear camera (12 MP + 13 MP) and a 16 MP selfie camera.

The price has been dropped to Rs. 29,900 from Rs. 36,800.
