Alongside Mi 9 Pro 5G, Xiaomi has also launched an all-new lineup of 4K TVs flaunting bezel-less displays and up to 8K video playback.
The Mi TV Pro lineup consists of three different models – 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. All three models have an impressive screen to body ratio of 97% due to extremely narrow bezels around the display. The bottom bezel is slightly bigger compared to the rest since it houses Xiaomi’s “Mi” logo.
The display on all three models have 4K resolution and video playback can go as far up as 8K. Offline 8K video playback is supported through a USB device while online 8K video playback will follow the 24fps VP9 and H.265 standard.
The frame of the Mi TV Pro is made out of an aluminum alloy and the base is made out of metal as well for a sturdy build. The 3D Carbon Fibre pattern on the back gives the TV a premium look.
All three smart TVs are powered by the 12nm quad-core Amlogic T972 SoC clocked at 1.9GHz. The custom chipset is coupled with 32GB of built-in storage and 2GB RAM. The series features PatchWall OS with XiaoAI assistant support, voice commands, Dolby Audio, and the ability to connect to IoT devices.
