Shadab Khan to Donate His Earnings from Sri Lanka Series to Earthquake Victims

Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan has pledged to donate all the salary he will earn from the series against Sri Lanka to the affected people from the earthquake in northern Pakistan.

The earthquake, which came on the early morning of Tuesday, has claimed over 21 lives and left 450 injured. In addition to this, a lot of people reported severe damage to their houses.

Shadab has become one of the first to come out in favor of all the people who have been affected. He said:

Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi also publicly asked everyone to help the affected people.

The death count of 21 people was reported by from Kashmir’s Mirpur district and was confirmed by the Mirpur DIG and NDMA.

Pakistan will play their first match against Sri Lanka on 27th September in Karachi in a series of 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is.
