Adil Rashid Returns to Pakistan to Support Earthquake Victims in Mirpur

Following the earthquake that hit Mirpur and other areas in Kashmir, the relief activities are in full swing in the valley. A number of countries and the Asian Development Bank (ABD) have also lent their support to Pakistan after the disaster that badly damaged the infrastructure, injuring and killing several people.

English cricketer, Adil Rashid, has also been seen helping the victims of the earthquake in Azad Kashmir. He was recently pictured donating relief packages among those affected by the earthquake. He also distributed hygiene kits among the residents of Sang Kikri, a village in Azad Kashmir.

Islamic Relief Pakistan, which is currently undertaking relief activities in the affected areas, invited the Pakistani-British cricketer to take part in the noble cause. According to some reports, Adil hails from Mirpur in Azad Kashmir.

The 31-year-old is a regular in England’s limited over outfits and was a part of their first-ever World Cup triumph earlier in 2019.

The social media users are showering praise on the cricketer for his noble gesture.
