Oppo Reno A, the OEMs latest mid-range smartphone, has just launched in the Japanese market. The smartphone packs a Snapdragon 710 SoC, an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, and 128 GB onboard storage.
Unlike other Reno smartphones, Oppo Reno A does not boast anything spectacular. It’s almost as if the company has run out of ideas. Anyways, let’s get to the details.
Design and Display
Reno A comes with the typical sleek body design and matte finish metallic back, reminiscent of Oppo’s other older mid-rangers. At the back, the dual-sensor camera is horizontally aligned on the top left. Reno A also comes with an IP67 rating for water and dust protection. It will be available for sale in blue and black colors.
On the front, the smartphone features a waterdrop notch 6.4-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ (1080p) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 403 ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Internal and Storage
The smartphone comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 SoC at the helm joined by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
Software-wise, it runs on ColorOS 6 flavored Android 9.0 Pie.
Cameras
At the back, the smartphone features a dual-sensor camera with a 16 MP main sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. The selfie camera, on the other hand, is an impressive 25 MP single sensor shooter.
Battery and Pricing
This phone is powered by a 3600 mAh battery that is charged over a USB Type-C connector.
Oppo Reno A will be available for sale in Japan from 18th October and will cost $332.
