Honor is reportedly moving closer to launching its first wide-format foldable phone, with a new leak revealing details about its displays, cameras, and battery.
The leaks mention a battery size that matches the biggest foldable battery so far, which is currently found in the Vivo X Fold 6.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the device has entered its final refinement stage after previously undergoing engineering tests. However, Honor has not officially confirmed the phone or announced a release date.
Biggest Battery
The wide foldable is tipped to carry a 7,000 mAh battery.
Digital Chat Station claims this would make it the largest battery offered in a flagship foldable within its category. Honor has previously fitted large batteries into relatively slim folding phones, including the Magic V6, which has a 6,660 mAh battery.
Honor also holds the title of having the biggest battery in mainstream phones, including the Honor X80 Pro Max and Honor Win series.
Wide Display Design
The latest engineering prototype reportedly retains the same display arrangement mentioned in an earlier leak.
It is tipped to feature a 7.6-inch inner folding display and a 5.5-inch outer screen. The wider cover display should provide more room for routine activities such as messaging, web browsing, and watching short videos without opening the phone.
200MP Main Camera
Honor has reportedly finalised a 200MP primary camera for the upcoming foldable.
The rear camera system is also expected to include a periscope telephoto lens for zoom photography. The leak does not reveal details about the remaining cameras or their specifications.
Flagship Processor
An earlier leak suggested that Honor could power the device with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6-series processor manufactured using a 2nm process.
The chipset remains unconfirmed, and Qualcomm has not yet publicly detailed the platform.
Honor has not revealed when it plans to introduce the foldable. Its reported move into final refinement suggests that development has progressed, but an official announcement may still be several months away.
