Nokia 9.1 PureView Has Been Delayed to Q2 2020: Rumors

Nokia 9 PureView has been HMD Global’s latest flagship device since it came out in February this year. To this day, it flaunts one of the best camera setups out there along with a gorgeous OLED display with 2k resolution.

Soon after the phone’s release, the Finnish phone maker started working on a successor named Nokia 9.1 Pureview, but its release got delayed due to a few camera issues. In more recent news, it seems that the phone’s launch has been delayed yet again, and it may not arrive until next year.

HMD Global usually announces new smartphones on the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event that takes place early in Q1 each year. However, reports claim the company will not do that this time and the phone’s launch will be placed somewhere in Q2 instead. The reason behind this delay is still uncertain.

Expected Specifications

Expected specifications of the device include a Snapdragon 855 chipset, while some reports claim that it will be equipped with the Snapdragon 865 with 5G compatibility.

It is expected to deliver incredible camera quality this time around as well with better low-light performance and better videography. It will be a part of the Android One program and will boot Android 10 fresh out of the box. The display is expected to have a punch-hole in one corner, similar to Nokia X71.

  • By the time the Nokia 9.1 comes out next year with the Snapdragon 855. The Snapdragon 865 will be in all the new 2020 flagship phones. It will still be a year behind
