Ufone has appointed Adnan Anjum as its Vice President, we have confirmed with sources in the company. As per details, his appointment was finalized in a recent board meeting of the company.
Adnan will serve as Chief Marketing Officer and will be reporting to Mr. Rashid Khan, CEO and President of Ufone.
Previously, Adnan has been working as Head of Marketing at Ufone. He is a seasoned marketer, strategist and business leader.
Adnan holds excellent reputation in the industry for developing and implementing corporate and commercial strategies. With over 15 years of experience spanning across various industries and geographies, Adnan has spearheaded Ufone team to significant turnaround.
Before his appointment as the Marketing Head at Ufone, Adnan served as the Country Head for Moby Group in Pakistan. He has also worked as Director Marketing Strategy, VAS, Pricing and Segments for Warid Telecom, and as the General Manager for Catalyst Managerial Group in Libya.
Adnan holds MS in Marketing Research, and MBA in Marketing from University of Texas.
The recent turnaround definitely meant that the marketing man would get rewarded.
