The leader of an international child pornography gang has been arrested from Rawalpindi.
According to the CCPO Rawalpindi police, the suspect was wanted in multiple sexual abuse cases. During the investigation, he confessed to live-streaming sexual abuse of 30 children from Rawat.
The suspect has confessed to physically abusing 30 children in Pakistan, and uploading their videos on the ‘Dark Web.’
According to sources, the suspect, identified as Sohail Ayaz, has also served jail terms in the United Kingdom for the same crime.
He was later deported from the UK. Ayaz has also faced trials in Italy under similar charges and was subsequently deported.
The police kicked off an investigation after receiving a complaint from the mother of a 13-year-old child.
According to the FIR, Sohail abducted Hamza and kept him in a house in Bahria Town for four days, where he drugged and abused him and uploaded the videos on the Dark Web.
