Huawei’s latest launch event saw the unveiling of the Nova 6 series alongside a new fitness band dubbed the Huawei Band 4 Pro.
As the name suggests, this fitness band is the high-end variant of the previously released Huawei Band 4 with improved health management, GPS tracking, and a new NFC card swiping feature.
The Huawei Band 4 Pro comes with a 0.95-inch AMOLED color display with touch support and a design that is akin to previous iterations. Its frame is made out of brushed metal and there is a pill-shaped home button at the bottom of the display. The silicone straps are comfortable and lightweight.
There are over 100 pre-loaded watch faces and users can also install third-party faces at any time.
It is equipped with 11 sports modes that can record 127 types of different sports data. It also has a very accurate GPS tracker, a SpO2 blood oxygen monitor, a heart-rate tracker, and a sleep tracker.
The NFC (near-field communication) functionality onboard lets users access payments cards, transportation cards, and also supports Alipay code scan payment.
The Huawei Band 4 Pro is available for pre-ordering in Sakura Pink, Graphite Black, and Amber Sunrise colors for $56. It will officially go on sale on December 12.
