Major hospitals in Islamabad including Nafees Hospital, HBS Hospital and Rawal Hospital have closed OPD services.
The official stance of the mentioned hospitals is that the move has been made as a precautionary safety measure.
Our sources also indicate that a walk-in patient at Maroof Hospital tested positive for the coronavirus yesterday.

Shifa Int. Hospital is following the evolving situation closely. Our staff has been trained & educated and precautionary infection control measures have been implemented at the hospital premises.
It must be mentioned that no case of COVID-19 has been reported at Shifa International Hospital as of yet.
Please note that OPD, IPD, & ER services at Shifa International Hospital are being provided as usual. All OPD Clinics are fully functional & appointment schedule for surgeries and procedures has been followed accordingly.
