Ben Dunk Eager to Return to Pakistan For Remaining PSL 2020 Matches

The novel coronavirus has deprived the fans of all the sporting events with the overall tally crossing 1.6 million and close to 100,000 deaths worldwide.

With Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) hoping to reschedule the remaining PSL matches in November, Lahore Qalandars’ explosive batsman, Ben Dunk, is also eager to get back with his teammates.

The in-form Lahore Qalandars made it to the top 4 for the first time in history before the event was postponed indefinitely due to COVID-19. Dunk has set his eyes on the trophy once the situation gets normal.

Our team was on a roll. Chris Lynn scored that wonderful hundred in the game before the playoff. Hopefully later this year, we can all get back together and play these next two games and walk away with the trophy.

While the Australian acknowledged that there were bigger issues to be resolved first, he expressed his eagerness to be back for more action in Pakistan at a later stage.

I have no qualms and, in fact, I can’t wait to get back and play those playoff games at some stage in near future.

Calling his teammate, Shaheen Afridi, one of the best T20 bowlers in the world, the 33-year-old said that he can easily be the player of the tournament in ICC T20I World Cup in Australia later this year.

Thanking the fans, the left-handed aggressive batsman said that the crowd was one of the loudest he has ever seen anywhere in the world.
