KP Launches Competition to Design a Monument for COVID-19 Frontline Warriors

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has launched a competition for artists to design a monument for COVID-19 workers, Samaa has reported.

The initiative launched by CM KP, Mahmood Khan, and Special Assistant to the CM for Local Government and Rural Development, Kamran Bangash, is aimed at honoring frontline workers who are risking their lives for the greater good of the nation.

Workers including doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, sanitation workers, Police, and others helping the government fight coronavirus pandemic will have a monument in their honor as a result of the competition. Participants including students, artists, organizations as well as other professionals can submit their designs at [email protected]


Official: Peshawar Will Host PSL Matches in Upcoming Edition

If a participant wishes to send his or her entry via post, the postal address is as follows:

Deputy Secretary Admin, Local Government Department, Police Line Road Civil Secretariat, Peshawar.

The winning entry will be made into a monument in partnership with the private sector. The KP government hasn’t announced the deadline or the date when the winning entry will be revealed.
