Govt Announces Massive Rs. 74 per Litre Decrease in Petrol Price

The federal government has announced another but much bigger reduction in petroleum product prices on 19th June, sources shared with ProPakistani.

The price of petrol has been reduced by Rs. 74 per litre.

The government has also decided to reduce the price of high-speed diesel by Rs. 67 per litre.

With the latest cut, petrol now stands at Rs. 299.78 per litre, down from Rs. 373.78, while diesel has been reduced to Rs. 311.56 per litre.

An official notification by the Petroleum Division was shared shortly after this update to confirm the new rates.

The latest rates will be implemented at 12 AM, 20 June 2026.

Last week, the prices of petrol was reduced by Rs. 4 per litre and diesel by Rs. 2/litre.

On June 12, petrol was set at Rs. 373.78 per litre, while diesel was reduced to Rs. 378.56 per litre.
