Punjab government has started a new initiative to combat hunger and malnutrition among young students across the province.
According to details, Punjab’s School Education Department (SED) has partnered with Allah Wallay Trust, a food charity organization, for providing free meals to primary students.

Under the partnership, primary students all over Punjab will be provided with 1 free meal every day.
The free meal service has initially been introduced in 100 schools. It will be expanded to the rest of the province in the coming months.
