BZU Students Fake COVID-19 Tests to Avoid Exams

Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), Multan, has exposed the students who reportedly forged their COVID-19 reports to avoid taking the on-campus examinations.

According to media reports, at least 11 students from the English, Political Science, and Sociology departments had submitted bogus coronavirus positive reports to the university.

A sudden increase in the positivity ratio has sparked fear among teachers, students, and parents, with many calling for the university to be sealed. Deputy Commissioner Multan has also suggested a smart lockdown of the university.

Considering the seriousness of the matter, the BZU administration formed a coronavirus committee to verify the reports and forwarded them to Nishtar Hospital and private laboratories to be verified. The reports were officially confirmed to have been tampered with, and the laboratories informed the committee that the students had never gotten themselves tested.

According to the reports, the students in question had plotted to manipulate the BZU administration into conducting online examinations that would enable them to cheat easily. However, the students have not yet admitted doing so.
