Students Beat Experienced Money Managers at KASB Trading Titans Competition

KASB, one of the oldest capital markets businesses in Pakistan, is proud to announce the winners of its second Inter-university Stock Trading Competition KASB Trading Titans 2.0. The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi student Zain Ahmed takes the top position with a portfolio return of 147% followed by IBA Sukkur student Rahool Kumar with a portfolio return of 143%.

The winner was awarded PKR 50,000 for the trading account. The top 5 winners were also offered Management Trainee positions and the top 20 best-performing students got awards of PKR 5,000 for trading.

Each year, the KASB Trading Titans competition challenges students to trade using a virtual currency of 1 million and build their portfolio using the KTrade app – the most popular stock trading application in Pakistan. Students also get access to the research portal, reports, technical and fundamental analysis for free.

Students all around Pakistan participated in Trading Titans. More than 2,000 students in 25 universities have learned about investments and finance through KTrade and the training sessions conducted by KASB’s team.
