Sony’s highly anticipated next-generation console, the PlayStation 5, is now officially available for sale. After 7 years of the vastly successful PlayStation 4, the PS5 can now be purchased in major regions across the globe. The news comes a few days after Microsoft released its own next-generation console, the Xbox Series X.
The PlayStation 5 comes in two different models, one with disc compatibility and the other without it. The bulky PlayStation 5 Standard Edition costs $499 and has support for discs, while the Digital Edition, is available for $399. The Digital Edition is slimmer since it does not have a disc slot.
In the wake of the ongoing pandemic, the PS5 will not be available for in-store sales and can only be purchased through online stores. Pre-orders were kicked off in September, but all the units were quickly sold out.
Sony is expecting a big boost in sales soon as the holiday season is right around the corner and also because the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly increased the demand for home entertainment. The Japanese conglomerate expects to sell 7.6 million PS5 units by March next year.
Analysts predict that Sony will sell 17.9 million consoles by the end of 2021 and will hit the 67 million mark by 2024.
Hope it will launch in Pakistan under 50K with Special Edition

When will it be available in Pakistan and at what price tag?
Price for standard ( disc) edition is 125,000 to 140,000. While digital edition costs around 100,000 to 115,000
If it will under 90 thousand than i will buy it
Useless without official presence of Playstation Store and Plus subscription in Pakistan.
