Vivo announced on Thursday they’re replacing the FuntouchOS with a new and upgraded operating system. The introduction of the new OriginOS will reportedly offer more interactive widgets, new gestures, visual changes and a few UI tweaks here and there.
Today, Vivo has released a definitive roadmap for update queries regarding OriginOS.
30 Vivo smartphones will reportedly support the option to switch to the new operating system. The unreleased X Series – probably the rumored Vivo X60 – will be the first Vivo phones running on OriginOS fresh out of the box.

This update targets smartphone users all around the world – mostly China – where Google Services don’t work. There’s little to no information about a tentative global rollout schedule at this time.
Expect to get some official impressions a month or two after the OS is released in China.
