The alleged scandal involving Babar Azam and Hamiza Mukhtar has taken a new turn as the latter has claimed she narrowly escaped an assassination attempt last night.
According to Hamiza, two unidentified motorcycle-riding assailants opened gunfire at her car near Kahna, a small town 15 km away from Lahore city.

While imploring Prime Minister Imran Khan to accord her protection, she said, “My life is in danger and I have been receiving death threats for days.”
Kahna Police has registered an FIR at the complaint of Hamiza and further investigation is underway.

Hamiza had accused Azam of sexual abuse in a press conference last month, claiming that she was the neighbor and old school mate of the incumbent Pakistan cricket team captain.
She alleged that the 26-year-old cricketer had “tricked her into love” and “tortured” her when she asked for marriage.
I already saw this coming. She is desperately trying to stay in the news.
What if it is all true? will you say the same thing on the judgement day?
Whatever i say is not the absolute truth, it’s just my opinion. 2ndly, her case has been dismissed and photos were found to be fake and photoshopped.
Well let’s not talk about judgement day here, if she was this innocent why did she get into this intimate relationship,even if this is true which i highly doubt both are guilty and we can’t support either of them

So sad how convenient it is for someone to hurl such serious allegations. Why government is being asked to intervene as they got other better and better things to handle. The police shall investigate this matter on merit and the culprit shall be taken to court. Let this be an eye opener for others too. It has become a business to manipulate and use women to fool judicial system of Pakistan. Unfortunately nothing is being done to curb such horrible acts.
