Samsung is gearing up to launch a couple of mid-range smartphones next year, and as expected, a couple of leaks surrounding the smartphones have surfaced on the internet.
The most recent leak detailing the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A72 5G comes from Steve Hemmerstoffer of OnLeaks. The smartphone will be launched as a successor to the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G made official earlier this year.
The renders show a rather big rectangular camera bump on the back and a flat display with a tiny punch hole and thick bezels on the front. According to the leak, the smartphone will feature a plastic back with an Aluminum frame. It is expected to sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution.
It will measure 165 x 77.4 x 8.1 mm (9.9 mm with the camera bump) and sport an in-display fingerprint sensor. A 64 MP primary sensor will lead the quad-sensor rear camera setup at the back. The other sensors will most likely be an ultra-wide, macro, and a depth lens.
According to Hemmerstoffer, the smartphone will go on sale in the first quarter of 2021 and will have an expected price point of $599, which is pretty high for a mid-range smartphone.
