Xiaomi Mi 11 to Sport a Cornered Punch-Hole Display [Leak]

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its last flagship series (Mi 11) of 2020 later this month. According to previous leaks, the company will host a launch event on the 29^th of December.

As expected, a slew of leaks and rumors started showing up a few weeks before the launch. Now, just a weak ahead of its launch, images of tempered protective glass for the series have surfaced on the internet.

The tempered glass protector, endorsing previous leaks and rumors, shows that the smartphone will come with curved edges and a punch hole on the top left corner of the display similar to the Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, and Mi 10 Extreme Edition launched earlier this year.

Since the Chinese company had confirmed that it was working on its third-generation under-screen camera technology, it was believed that the said flagship series would debut the new tech. However, the leaks and rumors suggest otherwise.

In terms of specifications, the smartphone will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 SoC topped with 8 GB RAM. It will pack a Samsung-made 2K AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The vanilla variant is expected to support 55W fast charging, while the high-end version will most likely support 120W ultra-fast flash charging. As far as the camera is concerned, the series is expected to come with a 108 MP triple camera system.
