During the second Test match between Pakistan and New Zealand, the stump mic picked up a conversation between the tail-enders, Mohammad Abbas and Naseem Shah.
The exchange between the two has since gone viral on social media. Pakistan showed some resistance towards the latter part of the innings as they started poorly in the first session. Abbas and Naseem were the last pair on the crease as they talked about getting the maximum number of runs for the team.
“Abbas bhai aapko pata hai sari zimmedaari mere upar hai, single karna hai varna daant pad jaayegi,” (Abbas bhai, the onus of the batting is now upon me. You have to take a single, otherwise you will be scolded),” Naseem said to Abbas.
