Last week, Xiaomi launched its latest flagship Mi 11, the world’s first smartphone powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 processor, in China.
Now, the company is getting ready to launch the handset globally. Although Xiaomi has not shared any details regarding the smartphone’s global rollout it recently shared a teaser poster hinting that Mi 11 will make it to other parts of the world sooner than later. The poster reads, “Mi 11 Series Global Launch Coming Soon.”

Since its launch, the smartphone has dominated the Chinese market. Within 5 minutes of its launch, Xiaomi was able to sell around 350,000 units. Moreover, before going on sale, the phone’s pre-orders exceeded 850,000 registrations on JD.com.
In other news, apart from launching the handset globally, Xiaomi is also gearing up to launch a Pro variant of the smartphone. Fine details regarding the upcoming handset are bleak but rumors suggest that it will launch in Q1 2021.
In terms of specifications, the Mi 11 comes with Snapdragon 888 topped with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is equipped with a 6.81-inch AMOLED display that offers 3200 x 1440 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The key highlight of the device is its 108 MP triple camera system on the back.
