The final match of Women Basketball League between Lahore and Faisalabad turned into a battlefield as a fist-fight broke out between the players of the opposing teams. The incident occurred when a Faisalabadi player on her way to score a basket accidentally nudged the Lahori player.
The two teams exchanged blows until the supervisors stepped in and separated them. The match was halted for a few hours before the teams eventually cooled down, the match restarted without any further hassle.

As it can be seen in the video, the Lahori player in the black kit does not take lightly to the nudge by the Faisalabadi player in the pink kit. She jumps back up and punches the opponent player after which the players from both the teams get involved and trade punches and kicks.

Both the teams refused to play the match unless the culprits of the fight were removed from the court. After a lot of deliberation by the supervisors and the match officials, the teams agreed to step back on the basketball court to continue the match.
The Women Basketball League was being held at Islamabad where the teams participated in friendly matches over a period of three days.
