Pakistan were ranked number one in the world a few years ago but slipped to 7th position after a string of poor results under different captains. Pakistan’s recent performance in the Test series against New Zealand was disappointing, to say the least, but Pakistan can bounce back and potentially climb up the rankings once again.

South Africa, on the other hand, are on a good run, and winning their recent series against Sri Lanka has boosted their morale. They will be looking to spoil the party for Pakistan and look to gain some points on fourth-placed England.
