Now that the Samsung Galaxy S21 series is out of the way, leaks and rumors encircling the Galaxy Z Fold 3 have started surfacing on the internet. The most recent leak comes from Ben Geskin, a tech enthusiast and content creator who has a good track record. This time he has designed a render for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3 based on the information that was leaked over the past few months.

The first thing that we notice is the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra-like camera bump. This is a pretty clever guess since Samsung has done the same with previous Galaxy Fold smartphones. However, the placing of different camera modules might not be identical to the S21 Ultra. Most likely, it will come with a downgraded camera due to the challenges and space constraints of the form factor.
Apart from this, we have been getting hints regarding S-pen support for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 for a while now. Previously we thought that it would have a stylus that slides inside the smartphone’s body but now that Samsung has set a precedent with the S21 Ultra, we believe the S-pen will be optional. Geskin also has the same idea, which is why he has placed the stylus along with the phone in the render.
Nevertheless, this rumor is not official and the final device may vary in design.
In terms of specifications, the handset is expected to feature smaller displays as compared to its predecessor. It will most likely come with a 7.55-inch inner screen and a 6.21-inch display on the outside. Moreover, some rumors suggest that the handset will debut the company’s first under-display camera.
More details will be revealed as the launch date nears.
