Pakistan Is No Longer Offering Manual Visa Service

Pakistan’s embassies and high commissions across the world have halted the issuance of manual visas.

Non-resident Pakistanis and others intending to visit the country are required to apply for the visas at Pakistan’s official visa portal.

The move is in line with the federal government’s plans for the complete implementation of the E-visa regime.

Last month, the Interior Ministry had directed Pakistan’s embassies and high commissions all over the world to suspend the issuance of manual visas from 1 February.

Note that Prime Minister Imran Khan had initiated the online visa service after assuming office in 2018. So far, Pakistan has extended the online visa facility to 192 countries.
