Next Realme Flagship Will Give Birth to the GT Series

Realme has been teasing an upcoming flagship for a while now the company is back at it again. Company executive Xu Qi Chase has shared another post on his Weibo profile hinting at an upcoming Snapdragon 888 flagship device. He had previously confirmed that the device will be codenamed Realme Race and will mark the start of a new GT series.

We now have a solid hint that confirms the upcoming phone will be called the Realme GT. This is because the latest teaser from the executive shows a Nissan GT-R model car with a caption that says “Keep racing. Realme’s new flagship series is coming soon.

We also saw the TENAA listing for a Realme flagship which was branded “GT” on the back.

Previous reports have already revealed that the Realme GT is going to be the brand’s first Snapdragon 888 phone and we have also seen a few live images of the device. The images showed a triple camera setup as well as a glossy finish on the rear panel. Realme’s usual “Dare To Leap” slogan can also be seen here.

A closer look at the image shows that it’s going to be a 64MP module. Additionally, a notable tipster Digital Chat Station has previously leaked that it will have a flat display, super-fast charging support, and a thin and light body.

Other reports have speculated that the Realme Race phone will have a 5,000 mAh battery, with 125W super-fast charging. The 64MP main camera will be accompanied by a duo of 13MP sensors with a telephoto and ultrawide lens. It will likely have a high refresh rate display, up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS.
