Govt to Take Action Against Healthcare Workers Who Refused to Get Vaccinated

The Sindh Health Department has expanded the scope of coronavirus vaccine and has decided to act against frontline healthcare workers who refused to get inoculated.

The frontline health workers of Mirpur Khas, Umerkot, and Tharparkar districts are being vaccinated at the divisional level coronavirus vaccine centers.

However, there are health workers who have refused to get the mandatory vaccination, consequently, departmental action will be taken against them.

The policy of the department is that those who refuse to get vaccinated would be deprived of the allowances.

The COVID-19 vaccination is now being administered to all health workers including doctors and medical staff working in the private sector.

There are two doses of the Chinese vaccine that will be administered at 21-day intervals.

According to the health officials, the coronavirus vaccine will be available to the general public, including employees of other government agencies, in the upcoming few weeks.
