Affordable RedmiBook Pro 14 and 15 Launched With 11th Gen Intel CPUs

Tech giant Xiaomi has launched RedmiBook Pro 14 and 15 for the Chinese market. Both models come in three separate variants and all of these are equipped with the high-end Intel 11th Gen Tiger Lake processor (Core-i5/i7).

A few notable features reveal a slimmer and lighter body, greater performance and the branding itself.

RedmiBook Pro 14

Xiaomi states that the RedmiBook Pro 14 comes with a screen-to-body ratio of 88.2%, coupled with a resolution stat of 2560 x 1440. The display is TUV Rheinland certified for low-light and caps a 300-nit max brightness.

The exterior sports an aluminum build and the laptop weighs about 1.46kg.

RedmiBook Pro 14 adopts the 10nm low-power Intel Tiger Lake-U series to choose between Intel Core i7 and i5 clocking 4.7 GHz of processing power, while the GPU is either Intel Xe core display or NVIDIA MX450.

For connectivity, there’s Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, one USB-C Thunderbolt-4 port (supports 4K-ext. display at 60Hz, 1080p display up to 240Hz), standard USB-C, USB-A 3.2 Gen1, USB-A 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack and a single HDMI port.

Miscellaneous features include a huge 56WHr battery, 65W USB-C adapter, 4W speaker with DTS, fingerprint, an over-the-top 720p webcam, backlit keyboard, XiaoAI, MIUI+, among others.

RedmiBook Pro 15

Unlike the other model, the RedmiBook Pro 15 sports a 15.6-inch display with 3.2K resolution at 3200 x 2000 pixels.

The screen has a 1500:1 contrast ratio coupled with a 90Hz refresh rate which can be manually downclocked to 60Hz to optimize power.

Similar to other Pro variants, this model sports an aluminum build but weighs 1.79kg.

The RedmiBook 15 runs on the Intel 11th-gen Tiger Lake Core i5 and Core i7 processors. Similar to the 14 variant, it is paired with either integrated Intel Xe graphics or Nvidia GeForce MX450 GPU. For memory, you get the same 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM and 512GB Solid State Drive (SSD).

In terms of power, the Pro 15 has a 70Whr battery that supports a 100W USB Type-C charger. Both 14/15 models support 1C quick charge and can recharge 50% battery in just 30 minutes.

As for the available interfaces, the RedmiBook Pro 15 has singular support for 3.5 mm earphones, an HDMI 1.4, a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.2 port, Thunderbolt 4 port and a USB Type-C port.

In terms of software, the RedmiBook Pro notebook is pre-installed with the original Windows 10 and Office software, supports Xiao Ai’s physical keys, and also supports MIUI +, enabling data sharing between PCs and mobile devices (as advertised).

Connectivity specifications are identical to the RedmiBook 14 model.

RedmiBook Pro 14

The cheapest RedmiBook Pro 14 has a starting price of 4499 yuan (about 570 euros) for the version with Intel Core i5, on-board graphics, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD.

Then there’s the variant with Intel i5, NVIDIA MX450 dedicated graphics card, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage at the price of 5299 yuan (670 euros).

Finally, the third one runs Intel Core i7, NVIDIA MX450 dedicated graphics card, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD space for the price of 5999 yuan (760 euros).

RedmiBook Pro 15

Moving on to the RedmiBook Pro 15, the model with Intel Core i5, on-board graphics, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage costs 4999 yuan (630 euros).

The version with Intel Core i5, NVIDIA MX450 dedicated graphics, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage costs 5499 yuan (700 euros).

Finally, the variant that integrates Intel Core i7, NVIDIA MX450 dedicated graphics, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage sells for 6299 yuan (800 euros).
