Former Pakistan all-rounder, Abdul Razzaq, has said that the incumbent captain of the Pakistan cricket team will go a long way and will break every record in the book by the time he retires.

During a recent interview with a local news channel, the 41-year old played down comparisons between Pakistani and Indian cricketers and asserted that Pakistan has more talent.

Abdul Razzaq added that Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, and Indian skipper, Virat Kohli, should not be compared with each other because both are completely different players.

He suggested that both cricket boards should organize matches between the two teams in order to determine who the better player between Azam and Kohli is.

He heaped praises over Babar Azam and added that he is extremely talented and will break all records.

“Babar played under me for six years at ZTBL and I never dropped him as captain. He was very talented and a very decent batsman. He has also proved himself on the world stage and now ranks among the top batsmen in the world. If we look after him properly, he will go on to break all the records,” explained Abdul Razzaq.
