Renowned singer, Atif Aslam, recently expressed his love for playing cricket during childhood, revealing that he always wanted to play a few games of cricket before opting for a career in showbiz.
“I worked really hard at it but my parents took it as a hobby and didn’t know how good I was. That led to me giving up on cricket as I was skipping classes, catering to my interest in taking wickets”, he said.
Whether this was just a rue disguised in memory at the back of a stellar career in music or anything of the sort, the Aadat singer was indeed “planning to become a professional cricketer”.
