Cricketing legend, Chris Gayle, recently had an interesting little chat with ESPNCricinfo about Pakistan’s former skipper and wicketkeeper, Moin Khan.
While discussing the old-timey yet rich history of the game playing against legendary cricketers from all over the world, Gayle vividly recalled Moin Khan as the most talkative and “twerpy” wicketkeeper he ever had to deal with behind the stumps.
All joyous and bubbly as he remembered something funny, Gayle remarked that it was his second series against Pakistan, in the Caribbean and Moin Khan “was very twerpy” but the experience was fun and he enjoyed playing against him.

Gayle acknowledged that sledging was a big part of cricket in the early years of his stellar career. Although the habit of provoking players has somewhat buzzed out in recent years, Gayle felt that all the mocking and bickering of the olden days was something to look forward to.
