Mohammad Rizwan is one of the best wicketkeeper batsmen in the world. Just taking a look at the stats that rank him among the all-time greats is enough to end any debate regarding this.

In the recent past, Rizwan has gone up the ranks through his dedication and hard work. He has proved his mettle in the batting department and has been phenomenal behind the stumps.

As per the statistics, Mohammad Rizwan is the only wicketkeeper in the world who has a 100 percent record of catching against the spin in Test matches*.

The list ranks Rizwan above MS Dhoni, BJ Watling, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Quinton de Kock, and Brad Haddin.

While Rizwan enjoys a flawless record, the next entry closest to him is Sri Lanka’s Prasanna Jayawardene with an 81.8 percent catching record, followed by India’s Wriddaman Saha with 78 percent.


*The list was published during the Sydney Test between Australia and India and included keepers with a minimum of ten matches since 2010. Rizwan did drop one of Nauman Ali during the South Africa series. However, the only drop still keeps him ahead of all his successors on the list.
