Lexus has announced its plan to unveil its massive ‘brand transformation’ on March 30, 2021. Along with that, the Japanese luxury car brand is also set to reveal an Electric Vehicle (EV) concept to the world.
The company says that the new EV concept shall be a symbol of a new era for Lexus whereby the company shall shift its focus towards developing the new generation of vehicles that will be mostly EVs.

The automaker also teased the concept by showing the silhouette of their new EV. The teaser does not give away many details about the car, but the sleek headlights, a long hood, and the high stance suggest that this new offering is likely to be a Crossover SUV.
The new concept SU-EV is supposedly a follow-up of the recently displayed LF-30, which was Lexus’s first fully electric concept car, hinting for the first time that the Japanese automaker is set to head down the EV road.

It has not been revealed when the SUV shall go into production, but it is believed that Lexus shall do so in the next couple of years. However, the company representatives affirmed that most of Lexus’s lineup shall consist of EVs by 2030.
