BBK-backed Oppo has just launched another entry-level smartphone, the Oppo A54, in Indonesia. The smartphone, like most entry-level handsets, comes with a big battery. In addition to this, it is equipped with a MediaTek chipset and a stylish design featuring an ombre paint job.
The handset comes with a chic design with a rectangular camera bump and an ombre paint job. It is available in two colors: Crystal Black and Starry Blue.
The handset is built around a 6.51-inch LCD with 720p resolution, standard 60Hz refresh rate, a punch hole, and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, it comes with an Helio P35 chipset paired with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage. You can expand the storage up to 256 GB with the dedicated SD Card.
It runs the dated ColorOS 7.2, based on Android 10. The phone also has IPX4 water resistance, which means the phone is safe from splashed water like rain or sweat.
Since it is an entry-level smartphone, the camera specifications are no great. Around the back, it sports a triple sensor camera setup with a 13MP main camera, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro lens which are most likely space fillers. The selfie camera is a 16 MP single sensor shooter.
The Oppo A54 packs a 5,000 mAh cell with support for 18W fast charging over a USB-C port.
It will be available for sale by 1st April for $185.
