Pakistan captain, Babar Azam, has revealed that fast bowler, Hasan Ali, is fully fit and is available for selection in the first ODI against South Africa, scheduled to be played on 2 April. Azam said that the final decision regarding the team combination will be made after analyzing the condition of the pitch on matchday.

Azam said that there are no fitness issues within the squad, and everyone is hundred percent fit and raring to go in the first match of the tour. Azam hinted that Hasan Ali and the former captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed, might be in the playing eleven tomorrow. He said “Hasan Ali is 100 percent fit. Hasan and Sarfaraz Ahmed are available for selection along with all the other members of the squad.”
Azam said that he is confident in the ability of his players, and every selected player deserves to be a part of the squad. He said that every player in the squad has a set role defined. However, the final decision on the starting XI will be made by judging the conditions, he said.

Azam said that the Pakistan team would be looking to play aggressive cricket on the tour, and every player will be given ample chances to bring out the best in them and prove themselves according to the demands of modern cricket. He said that they aim to score 350+ runs consistently, and players will have to adapt their roles according to the situation.
Azam said he was hopeful that Pakistan would defeat South Africa and earn the maximum points for the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.
