Fawad Chaudhry Gives Ultimatum for SUPARCO to be Returned to His Ministry

The Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry, revealed at a ceremony that the government plans to establish space observatories in Lahore, Karachi, and Peshawar.

While discussing key developments at the space observatory in Islamabad, the federal minister maintained that his ministry will create its own space program if the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) is not returned to the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The Chairperson of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, was also in attendance at the ceremony and voiced his approval of Minister Chaudhry’s commitment to providing large-scale “technical support with the help of this space observatory”.

Regarding the local festivities for the holy month of Ramazan and for Eid, Azad said that efforts to ensure that the country celebrates Ramazan and Eid on the same days are underway.

Besides this, he appealed to the nation to aid Pakistan’s transformation into the State of Medina as per the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
