The Provincial TB Control Program, Punjab, has collaborated with DOPASI Foundation to develop a mobile application called ‘eTB’ to assist private pharmacies in notifying the TB Control Authorities of the sale of anti-TB drugs.
The app was launched in Rawalpindi under the Chairmanship of the CEO of Health, Dr. Faiza Naeem, and the Provincial Manager of the Provincial TB Control Program, Punjab, with the support of Stop TB Partnership’s TB REACH Initiative.

The meeting was attended by the Manager Punjab Tuberculosis Control Program, Dr. Muhammad Saeed Akhtar; the Additional Director of the PTP Punjab, Dr. Muhammad Asif; the Chairman of the Pakistan Chemists’ & Druggists’ Association (PCDA) (Punjab), Zahid Bakhtarwi; the Chairman of the PCDA Rawalpindi, Chaudhry Imran Rashid; the Joint Secretary of the PCDA, Muhammad Rafiq; a senior adviser of the Dopasi Foundation; Dr. Ghulam Nabi Kazi; a senior adviser of Stop TB Pakistan, Dr. Syed Karam Shah; the Chairman/CEO of D.Watson Chemist, Zafar Bakhtarwi; the Provincial MDR Coordinator of the PTP, Dr. Usman Rasool Lodhi; public health professionals, district health authorities, drug inspectors, representatives of drug manufacturers, pharmacies, chemists, and members of the civil society.
