The upcoming tour of Zimbabwe will allow team management to rest top bowlers, Pakistan’s bowling coach, Waqar Younis, has revealed.
While speaking to media in a virtual press conference, the bowling coach said that the team management is fully aware of the workload of the bowlers and will try to test bench strength by resting main bowlers.

The former captain noted the team management will assess all bowling options, considering the fact that the bowlers are returning from a long break resulting from the premature end of the PSL tournament.
Waqar added that the team management will finalize a formidable bowling combination before the T20 World Cup that will be played in India in October this year.

He lauded the performance of the bowlers in South Africa, adding that the pacers bowled well against the Proteas in their backyard.
While the bowling coach appeared satisfied with the overall performance of the bowlers against South Africa, he also acknowledged the bowlers must work on some weaknesses before the start of the T20 World Cup.
