PCB Finalizes Deal With UK-Based Company for Remaining PSL Matches

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has struck a deal with a UK-based company to manage the bio-secure bubble for the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 6.

As per details, the board has assembled agreement documents and dispatched them to Restrata, a company that provides COVID-safe technology, emergency response management solutions, and security management for global organizations, based out of the United Kingdom.

When finalized, the management protocols for maintaining the bio-secure bubble will fall on Restrata, and it will be their responsibility to make sure that the virus doesn’t breach it.

On a separate note, the PCB has booked a hotel for the remaining 6 PSL matches. The 300-room hotel will accommodate all 6 teams, officials, and commentators.

It’s also worth mentioning that rooms, halls, conference rooms, and restaurants will be managed by the PCB. Hotels, transport, ground staff, and broadcasters will remain inside the bubble under the protocols designed by Restrata.

The matches will be held in June at the National Stadium Karachi.
