Sindh to Conduct School Exams Against Federal Decision

The Sindh Education Department has decided to conduct the examinations for Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 across the province as scheduled despite the federal government’s decision to postpone them.

According to department sources, Sindh will follow its schedule and conduct the examinations as decided.

They added that the coronavirus situation will be reviewed after Eid-ul-Fitr, but for now, the examinations will not be postponed.

According to the schedule of the Sindh Education Department, the examinations for Nursery to Grade 8 will be conducted from 7 June 2021, those for Grades 9 and 10 will be held from 1 to 15 July, and the Intermediate examinations will be conducted from 28 July to 16 August.

The Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Shafqat Mehmood, has postponed all the scheduled and unscheduled examinations across Pakistan until 15 June in consideration of the increase in coronavirus cases.
