Govt Announces to Skip Some Subjects for Matric and Inter Exams

The government scaled down the annual board examinations portion for the Matriculation and Intermediate examinations next month to only elective subjects on Wednesday.

The Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Shafqat Mahmood, announced at a press conference that a decision has been made to reduce the syllabus portion to facilitate the students in the examinations that are due to start after 10 July all over Pakistan.

After canceling the board examinations last year due to the pandemic, the government is determined to conduct them this year as the concerned authorities took into account the decline in the new coronavirus cases that has been attributed to the increase in the number of vaccinations across Pakistan.
