Punjab Announces Exam Schedule for Classes 1-8

The government of Punjab has announced the examination schedule for students of grades one to eight. The decision was notified on Monday when all educational institutes reopened across the country.

The notification says that exams for grades 1-8 will be held between June 18 and 30. It asked schools to release their report cards by July 10.

“Please follow SOPs issued by the government,” read the notification.

Previously, the Punjab Higher Education Department (PHED) announced to conduct the intermediate exams for all boards of the province from June 26 and matriculation exams from July 14.

However, it was decided that exams for Class 9 and Class 11 will be conducted in September.

Earlier on May 18, the Punjab Board Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) had decided to hold matric exams from June 17 across the province and the Class 9 exams from July 27.

It was conveyed to the respective boards that the Intermediate Part-1 exams will commence from August 11 and that the Part-2 exams from July 2 this year.
