Pakistan’s Serial Record-Breaker Breaks Another Guinness World Record

Irfan Mehsood, a Pakistani martial artist who hails from South Waziristan, has made another Guinness World Record after he completed 43 pushups with one leg raised while carrying 45 kilos on his back in 60 seconds.

He has broken the record of Eric Lejeune, a French athlete, of 31 pushups with one leg raised while carrying 45 kilos on his back in 1 minute.

Irfan is a serial record-breaker and this is his 43^rd Guinness World Record, of which 23 are for different pushup challenges.

While speaking with the media, a jubilant Irfan said he is determined to promote sports and physical fitness in Pakistan, especially in his native region of Waziristan.

When asked what fuels his motivation for attempting so many world records, he said that he wants to spread a positive image of Waziristan across the world.
