Prime Minister Imran Khan has ordered the Federal Education Ministry to ensure smooth implementation of the Single National Curriculum (SNC) with the cooperation of provincial governments immediately.
Presiding a meeting to review the implementation of SNC, the premier directed the Education Ministry to ensure the SNC is reviewed regularly and changes are made according to requirements.

He also ordered the Education Ministry to devise and implement the SNC for Class 6 to 12 before the end of the year. It must be noted here that the Federal government introduced the SNC for KG to Class 5 across the country last week, a move openly rejected by the Sindh government.
PM Imran stressed upon teaching the Islamic history and Seerut-un-Nabi (PBUH) to the children, noting that the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) provides solutions to all social issues.

The premier said that no country distinguishes in their coursework for students except for Pakistan where there are divisions between education systems.
He added that SNC is the first step towards emancipating the youth from “English culture” and it will curb the class divide in the country by giving a level playing field to everyone.
