The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has extended the registration deadline for candidates who aim to take the Undergraduate Studies Assessment Test (USAT) to 1 September.
A statement issued by HEC explained that the test conducted by the Education Testing Council (ETC) has been extended in consideration of the problems that students have been facing while registering for it.
The test will be conducted (tentatively) on 12 September.
Universities can choose to accept the USAT result card for their admission requirements by announcing it for their potential undergraduate students. All universities can use this test to gauge the abilities of candidates and can consider it a universal test.
However, the test is not for candidates applying for MBBS/BDS programs. USAT is a standardized admission test developed from a question bank with quality, equity, reliability, and validity of the product and the integrity of the processes involved.
